TALENTED STUDENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT IN THE FINAL OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION CFA Institute Research Challengeу

The Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship congratulates our extremely talented students on their successful passage to the finals (at the regional level) of the international competition CFA Institute Research Challenge, which took place on 23.02.2024.

The captain of the team: Falco Mykyta. Project team: Mykyta Zakharov, Maria Boltryk, Dmytro Zabolotnii, Volodymyr Khyzhniak. Team leader from the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship: Doctor of Economics, Professor A.V. Grechko.

As part of the competition work, the participants conducted a full audit analysis of Lindt & Sprüngli (LISN), based on which they provided practical recommendations for its further development. Special thanks to the team captain Falco Mykyta for the successful organisation of the team’s work, presentation of the results in English and answers to the experts’ questions on the topic of work. Also, special thanks to Mykyta Zakharov for his significant contribution to the writing of the paper and effective organisational activities.

We are extremely proud of our students and wish them further victories and achievements!

Congratulations to the masters on receiving their diplomas

On 16 February 2024, diplomas were awarded to graduates of the Faculty of Management and Marketing, speciality 051 Economics, including graduates of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship who received the educational qualification of Master of Economics under the OPP Business Enterprise Economics. The Head of the Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Svitlana Tulchynska congratulated and presented diplomas to our students.

We sincerely congratulate our masters and wish them to fulfil their dreams and believe in themselves!

Online round table on "Forecasting factors influencing climatic changes as a part of Sustainable Development Goals 2030"

🇺🇦 On December 8, 2023, a round table was held within the framework of the Visegrad Project on «Forecasting factors influencing climate change as part of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030». The project team from the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute»: Prof. Alla Hrechko, Valentyna Marchenko, Assoc. prof. Nataliia Kuzminska, Assoc. prof. Oksana Kavtysh. The reports were presented by the universities participating in the Visegrad project on «Forecasting factors influence on climatic changes as a part of Sustainable Development Goals 2030»: National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, WSB University, The University of Žilina (UNIZA), VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Pan-European University Prague. DEFENSE OF MASTER'S THESES STARTED AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

On December 20, 2021 the first day of defense of master’s dissertations of students of the second level of higher education of specialty 051 Economics of the educational program Economics of business enterprise was successfully held. Applicants demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and proposed an innovative approach to solving various organizational and economic problems of different types of enterprises. Congratulations to our students on successfully defending their master’s theses!

PARTICIPATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE WORK OF THE FORUM "ECO-INDUSTRIAL PARKS"

On December 14, within the framework of the GEIPP Global Program of Eco-Industrial Parks in Ukraine, Representatives of the FMM Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship took part in the Eco-Industrial Parks Forum. The goals of the event were: • Raising the awareness of stakeholders about the development of Ukrainian industrial parks and the achievements of EEA-related policies. 

• Involvement of national business in the process of transformation of industrial parks into eco-industrial parks. We truly thank #UNIDO #GEIPP for organizing and gaining experience in implementing change in Ukraine

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Teachers and students of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship take an active part in scientific conferences and competitions: On December 9, 2021, the XVII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Majesty of Marketing” took place on the basis of NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic” (Dnipro), which was attended by about 20 students under the guidance of teachers of our department. Student Yuliya Vasylieva (supervisor Kryvda OV) won the second place. On November 22, 2021, the final stage of the All-Ukrainian student competition of business projects “Business Trampling” took place, which was attended by third-year students of UE-91 Nikita Falko and Nikita Zakharov (supervisor senior lecturer Kozhemyachenko OO) and won Third place.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS GAME

May 14, 2021 teachers of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship Ph.D., Assoc. Kavtish OP, Ph.D., Assoc. Pidlisna OA, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Grechko AV, Ph.D., Assoc. Kuzminska NL and Ph.D., Art. off Department of International Economics Redko K.Yu. Faculty of Management and Marketing took part in the presentation and discussion of the possibilities of using the game “Sustainable Development Goals” of the UN Global Compact for educational purposes. A total of 80 university professors from all over Ukraine joined the event. The event was a good continuation of the cooperation between the Global Compact in Ukraine and higher education institutions in terms of promoting and promoting CSW, their integration into training courses.
